Of money and ministries: Sen. Grassley prepares to send another round of letters to televangelists

Benny Hinn and five other televangelists are the target of a tax inquiry by a U.S. Senator regarding compensation and amenities given to executives of their respective religious organizations. Republican Chuck Grassley of Iowa, the ranking member of the Senate finance committee, sent letters late last year requesting financial information from the six ministries. His office now says he will send a second round of letters to five that have not complied in the next few weeks and he may resort to subpoenas.
