Letter from the Founder  ...

Dear Prophecy Students,

Praise the LORD! God is starting the meetings again! God stopped the meetings and now He has started them again.

God did not send one new speaker for exactly one year! Now within two weeks I have come in contact with FOUR to six new speakers!

About two days after I could see God was starting the tours again, I asked God, "If you are going to start the speaking tours again, why did you stop them?"

Very clearly, the LORD spoke to my heart and said, "Because of murmuring and complaining."

I thought, I have got to tell the people! They have to know why God stopped the tours, so they will know not to murmur or complain again, so He won't stop them again!

After telling Leslie she said, "Well, you know we have done some of that [murmuring and complaining] ourselves."

It felt like a knife in my heart! She was right. I had complained about some of the speakers, also. As previously stated, I did not always agree with every speaker on every comment. There were a few I regret putting on tour. I think the message for all of us is this.

We all need to look past the flesh and find the message God put in each speaker! We all must avoid murmuring or complaining. We must give God thanks!

And when we don't like one speaker as well as another we still need to praise God in all things!

What would you do if you knew God nudged your heart to put a speaker on tour? You obey, but they cause a mess! In the future, I will still put them on tour, but if they don't follow generally accepted guidelines of Christian conduct, they may be sent home.

I have made three changes.

1. I will never put the ministry in a position where we are pressured to have a tour every month in order to "make it".

2. I will never allow the ministry to be put in a position where "the show must go on", even if the tour has already been advertised, and even if it is at the last minute. The next time a speaker steps off the chalk line, they will make immediate corrections or be sent home-even if it is in the middle of the tour! I apologize in advance, in case you show up to a meeting to find out it has been cancelled. I may not explain what the speaker did or didn't do to deserve being sent home. Rest assured, I will always make building the kingdom of God our first objective. I reserve the right to send them home early or cancel a tour. They will do it right or not at all.

I am also sending Michael Simpson, a three and a half year employee of The Prophecy Club®, to drive the speaker to each meeting. This will enable him to observe the speaker's presentation and ensure the proper Christian conduct and agreed upon information given. No more speakers getting puffed up and saying inappropriate comments.
