Jihad:  Holy War or All-Out Evil?

Following is one of the best explanations I have found explaining "Islamic Jihad."  It comes from Jerry Golden at http://thegoldenreport.com.  Jerry is a Messianic Jew living in Israel and will be happy to put you on his e-mail list.  I find his reports to be some of the best on the Internet.  I have even placed him on The Prophecy Club® donation list.

"The concept of jihad is the core of their [Muslim] faith, and nothing can separate them from that.

Jihad is a lot more than a Holy Moslem War; it is a required Islamic mentality.

It is, in fact, the heart of the holy book of the Moslems, the Koran . 

"It is Jihad to remove someone from Jesus (Yeshua) whether they do it by the sword, gun or any other violence, or by enticing them away from their faith.  To the Moslem, anything that nullifies Jesus as Savior is Jihad.  To not serve the mandates of the Koran is to die. 

They feel that to coerce mankind into submitting to the Koran is what it demands; this is Jihad.

"Reject the deity of Jesus or die!  Become a Moslem or die!  The murders happen because someone is following the Koran's command of Jihad.  To blow an airplane out of the sky with a few hundred innocent people aboard to Moslems is a prime example of Jihad."

"The Koran teaches Moslems that if they die while killing the unbelievers they will go straight to heaven.  In Iran today they have Al Jihad squads that are called Al Mujahideen.  They are very dangerous and brutal.  The Koran declares that the world must be entirely Islamic world or there will be massive killing- that is Jihad .  Churches all over  Europe are being turned into mosques.

"Blacks all around the world are turning to Islam at alarming numbers.  The prison system in the United States has made it very easy for the conversion of tens of thousands of prisoners who are embracing Islam, simply because it feeds their hate for society.

"Israel has faced this battle, it's nothing new for us.  Now the U.S. is faced with it, and you may not even know it, but it is the enemy of God.  I'm talking about the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; not the god called Allah, the moon god of the Moslems.  These are the most dangerous people on earth; they are bloodthirsty and kill innocent women and children with no remorse.  Yasser Arafat is a terrorist, his organization is part of the El-Fatah, and some of the most dangerous and most wanted terrorists belong to Arafat's El-Fatah.  Arafat has ordered the killing of busloads of Israeli schoolchildren.  To him that is Jihad.  Jihad has come to the U.S. and it will spread throughout the whole world.

"Unlike Christians and Jews who are motivated by love, the Moslem is motivated by fear. Over and over in the Koran a very ugly picture of torture and punishment is drawn for those who live outside of the teaching of the Koran. Anyone who does not bend to Mohammed's teachings and interpretation is to suffer terror in this life and the life hereafter."

"....there they shall neither taste refreshment nor any drink save boiling water and decaying filth, they will drink molten metal, a fitting recompense. Hell will lie in the ambush, a home for transgressors" (Koran 78:21). 

" Those who say the Lord of mercy has begotten a Son preach a monstrous falsehood , . at which the very heavens might crack, the earth break asunder, and the mountains crumble to dust.  That they should ascribe a Son to the merciful, when it did not become Him to beget on." (Koran 19:88).

"It is not for any prophet to have prisoners until he has made wide slaughter in the land" (Koran 8:68).

"Prophet, make war on the unbelievers and the hypocrites and deal sternly with them.  Hell shall be their home, evil their fate" (Koran 66:9).

"Whosoever opposes Allah and his prophets will be faced with the eternal fire of Gehena.Hell burns fiercely" (Koran 81:8).

"The inhabitants of the paradise will call to the inhabitants of the fire; we have found what our lord promised us as true.  Yes!  They will say.  And then a herald shall proclaim among them:  Allah's curse is on the evildoers who bar from Allah's way, desiring to make it crooked, disbelieving in the world to come." (Koran 7:44).

"The only reward of those who make war upon Allah and His messenger and strive after corruption in the land will be that they will be killed or crucified , or have their hands and feet on alternate sides cut off , or will be expelled out of the land..." (Quran; Surah 5:33).

"...beware of them lest they seduce you from some part of that which Allah has revealed to you. And if they turn away know that Allah's will is to smite them."  (Quran; Surah 5:49).

 "... Take not the Jew and Christians for friends .  They are friends one to another. He among you who takes them for friends is one of them. Lo!  Allah guides not these wrongdoing people (Quran; Surah 5:51).

".and let not the unbelievers think that they will ever get away.  They have not the power to do so.  Muster against them all the men and cavalry at your command , so that you might strike terror into the enemy of God and your enemy" (Quran; Surah 8:59-60a).

". slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captive, and besiege them, and prepare to ambush them .  But if they repent and establish [Islamic] worship. their way is free .  Lo!  Allah is forgiving and Merciful" (Quran; Surah 9:5).

"... Make war on the unbelievers and the hypocrites!  And deal vigorously with them.  Hell shall be their home" (Quran; Surah 9:73)."
